Pagerduty vs DND on iPhone 2020

I searched in your support documents on the site, the last reference I see to making Pager Duty notifications override the Do Not Disturb / silent mode on an iPhone occurred in 2017…
It’s 2020. Does Pagerduty have this function yet?
…or a work around?

Hi Jason,

At the moment, the PagerDuty app cannot override system volume sounds on iOS. If your device is on silent or vibrate, then PagerDuty notifications will also be on silent or vibrate.

Since Apple’s API does not allow us to build features that can override a device’s volume at the moment, we will need to look into this feature request after Apple exposes that part of their API to developers.

We highly recommend using our phone notifications to bypass Do Not Disturb for iOS users.
